INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP GRANT PROGRAM
Each month, we award a $30,000 AHIG Grant to selected individuals. Our judges review each application before selecting winners.
Each monthly winner also qualifies for the year-end $100,000 American Heart Investment Membership Committee Grant.
Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Grant in Massachusetts
This program is designed to support master artists and their apprentices deeply rooted in shared cultural traditions. Grants from $5,000 to $7,500 fund apprenticeships in music, dance, storytelling, and more.
AHIG Nurture Young Musical Talent
This grant removes financial barriers for youth in classical music. With awards ranging from $500 to $2,000, it supports training and performance in vocal or instrumental music.
Indigenous Cultural Revitalization and Reconciliation
Empowers organizations to support intergenerational knowledge sharing, healing traditions, and storytelling through community-led programs.

Grants available for registered 501(c)(3) organizations and U.S. military veterans seeking support through business, housing, or community impact programs. These programs are designed to empower service-driven missions and community innovation.
Veteran-Owned Business Expansion Grant
Supporting U.S. veterans with registered businesses looking to expand, grow employment, or transition into full-time ownership. Grants range from $10,000 to $50,000.
Affordable Housing Development Initiative
Helps nonprofit developers and community-based groups create affordable housing solutions for low-income families and veterans. Funding may cover project planning, renovation, or land use.
Community Action Nonprofit Relief Fund
This program supports small to midsize nonprofits addressing food insecurity, education, public health, and workforce reentry. Awards up to $25,000 available.
